Once a search is started on Vigilant, a progress bar in the upper left hand corner of the result screen keeps track of the search’s progress. Most of the time, the majority sources should complete within a minute. If a search includes multiple alternate names or a large number of filters, it may take a bit longer.
The majority of the time, a search shouldn’t take more than two or three minutes to complete.
You can trust the progress bar to accurately show the status of a search. If there is ever a technical issue or a connection issue preventing Vigilant from returning results, the progress bar will reflect this delay and make it clear that a search is incomplete. If you ever experience this, please reach out to email@example.com.
